Location of dna inside a cell
DNA is located in every Eukaryotic cell’s nucleus in the form of chromosomes (where it is called nuclear DNA), but some cases the DNA is located within the nucleoid, such as Prokaryotic cells. DNA in a Prokaryotic cell can be found in the mitochondria as well. The DNA in Prokaryotic cells exists in the form of circular chromosomes. The existence of chromosomes, which are made up of DNA, proves that Prokaryotic cells (bacterial cells) in fact do contain DNA despite the absence of nucleus.
